The Rise Up Effect

To live for God, and further His cause on the earth.

Here is the wrap up from oct 21st TMT.

It was so great to have you all there! Congrats Jaime on the win! I hope you enjoy Jennifer Beckham’s book “Get Over Yourself.” It is one of my favorites and is such a great practical way to walk out what we talked about last night! If any of you decide to purchase one from her website make sure you use the promo code TRUE for 10% off!

Here is the story I talked about last night...(if you couldn’t be with us last night for TMT you can listen to the audio at iTunes-search True Daughters or watch it right here in the video section of The Rise Up Effect.)

As I was leaving the parking lot after this tangible experience of Jesus’ love. I felt like I could fly. I was totally giggly and couldn’t stop smiling. I rolled down the windows, cracked the sunroof and was getting ready to crank up the music when He dropped an analogy into my spirit. Which He often does to make the experience practical and relatable.

He reminded me I was feeling much like you feel after having that first deep conversation with “the” guy. You know, the one you’ve only been friends with until that conversation, but because a deeper level of personal things were shared it put you over the “just friends” line. (if you haven’t had a conversation like that with a boy GOOD I caught you in time:-))

Because He quickly reminded me that guy’s are awesome and a gift from him but they were not designed to heal our hurting places and to put that pressure on them isn’t fair. Let’s be girls that know who to go to for broken heart and crushed spirit issues. Cross the line with JESUS, no more “just friends” business, have the conversation.

Can't wait for next week... Have you ever thought about how we show Jesus love?

Thanks for being a part of TMT!

Love you girls

This is such a great analogy! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and revelations so that we can learn from them as well, I love TMT's!
