Well we did it!
I hear that the audio worked but the video stream was a little/a lot jumpy!
Sorry about that! I know how aggravating that is!
We are going to work out the kinks and have another go at it next week! Meanwhile here's the high points what I shared.
The Rise Up Effect is all about using what we have in our hands, our talent and influence, to place value on others!
How beautiful is our that God, that He created each of us with unique talents. Romans 12:6
How strategic is our God, that He placed us into our families and cities specifically to have influence on the people in them. Acts 17:26
How strong is our God, that His heart is for justice and making all wrong things right. Isaiah 42:4
How loving is our God, that He adores His girls and wants us to see ourselves as He sees us, vital and valuable to His plan... Ephesians 1:11-12 (MSG)
I see it... and I hope you are getting the vision for it too! A generation of girls Rising Up committed and courageous to growing in love, identity, power and purpose so they can be part of the movement, the force on the earth that is forming with purpose and intention by aligning ourselves with the heart of God.
We also chatted about a few new happenings.
If you are interested in starting a Coffee and Crochet in your school, church, neighborhood, amoungst your friends, I would be happy to help you get started! Don't want to keep all the C&C love in Raleigh would love for you to do your thing where ever you are!!

We will be interviewing past speakers and upcoming ones along with posting talks from our events! It is our desire to keep resources coming your way!
If you want to this Thursday-Saturday a conference is going on in Baton Rouge, LA called Live the Dream hosted by Healing Place Church. I totally adore all the speakers especially Bobbie Houston author of I'll Have what She is Having, & Chris Caine founder of The A21 Campaign. I want you to be equipped and both of these women have had a profound effect on my life, hoping they touch your heart too! I will try to keep you posted on how it goes while I'm there.
Jennifer Beckham a fabulous friend and powerful speaker that we had at camp two years ago has written a book that I think is pretty fantastic! She is going to be teaching on it via webcasting from a church in FL the first 3 Thursday evenings in Nov. I will get you the latest info on that so you can watch it if you'd like. I will also let you know how you can pick up a copy of her new book "Get Over Your Self and On With Your Destiny."
